A centre opened in Savitribai Phule's spirit.

On Savitribai Phule Jayanti, the foundation opened a new education centre in Sanganer with women, children, volunteers, books, and community learning at the heart of the gathering.

Savitribai Phule's legacy gave the opening its meaning: education should cross the boundaries that keep women and girls away from opportunity. The Sanganer gathering brought that idea into a local, practical form.
